Important: This data never leaves your device. It is stored locally using Chrome's built-in storage and is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.

4. Third-Party API Usage

To calculate accurate prayer times, the extension uses the AlAdhan API (https://api.aladhan.com), a free public Islamic prayer times service.

• What is sent: Only your selected city name to calculate prayer times
• What is NOT sent: No personal information, location data, or browsing history

5. Permissions Explanation

The extension requests the following Chrome permissions, and here's why:

• storage: To save your city selection and preferences locally on your device
• alarms: To schedule prayer time notifications at the correct times
• notifications: To display prayer time reminders when it's time to pray
• offscreen: To play Azan (call to prayer) audio in compliance with Chrome's security policies
• https://api.aladhan.com/*: To fetch prayer times from the AlAdhan API

6. Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device and we do not collect or transmit any personal information, there is minimal security risk. Your data remains under your control at all times.

7. Children's Privacy

Our extension does not collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The extension is safe for all ages.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
